Let's chastise Bush for sitting in an elementary school classroom as the towers were falling.
he sat there for 8-11 minutes after the first plane hit the WTC. Just like the rest of the country because everyone thought it was a plane accident or crash. Get your facts straight once again.

Has nothing to do with being "PC" but everything to do with minding your own business. If we weren't in Saudi those pilots would not have been raped. Can you tell me why we are over there in the first place?

Actually, the first plane hit the first tower before Bush even made it to the school. The second plane hit the South Tower just as Bush was arrving in the classroom. He was told at 9:06 by a staff member about the second strike. He remained in the classroom for approximately another 10 minutes before leaving without showing any indication something was wrong so as no to upset the children. BS it had to do with our Status of Forces Agreement we have in Place with the Saudis AFTER Desert Storm that WAS NOT SIGNED UNTIL WAY AFTER CLINTON was President. It stated that all Female officers and Enlisted Personal in Islamic Nations would agree to FOLLOW ISLAMIC LAW when it came to Off duty activitices. So even though they where US Mil Personal that where Raped and IIRC from what he told me ON the US AFB over there because it was by Muslim MEN the Men would have to be TRIED in an ISLAMIC COURT meaning only MEN Witnesses against them.

No, I got your point. And I actually agree with it to a degree. My point though was some nut will read the president sat there while the towers fell...which is far from true.

Don't get me wrong Iron MAN! What happened to uur embassy and the killing of our citizens was wrong and needs to be dealt with. I am just saying that we seem to continue to rub salt in the wound every chance we get by invading folks. And then we reward people with aid money. It just all seems counter productive to me. We would not stand for it if it were happening to us why do we think others should stand for our meddling and killing of their citizenry.

I think in 10 years (assuming the whole place doesn't blow itself to hell first) People will look back on Iraq and say "Damn, I can't believe that worked". There was a reason they tried this in that country. Though oppressed they have a pretty well educated population. I think they well eventually become a stable democracy at some point.

I think in 10 years (assuming the whole place doesn't blow itself to hell first) People will look back on Iraq and say "Damn, I can't believe that worked". There was a reason they tried this in that country. Though oppressed they have a pretty well educated population. I think they well eventually become a stable democracy at some point.

Didn't you hear about the Good Friday Accord? It was only like 14 years ago LOL! Like I said, it finally worked itself out.
