Dunno about "sickness benefits". Just thinking long term. I ASSUME rail road disability is treated like Social Security benefits so if that's the case you won't be taxed on that once it kicks in.
Correct. I was told that if all goes smoothly (I dare not count on it) I should have RR benefits by Oct. 1[sup]st[/sup] of this year. Until then I have only the sickness benefits and right now I need a skimmer on the seahorse tank, which I dare not spend $300.00 on.
The reef needs a 37g water change minimum, two cubes of food, with the SHs that makes me needing a full package a week + chunks of shrimp. A bucket of slat last 1 month.
So I will break down the reef tank for now, any corals that can live with the horses will go in there, I have already added a green button polyp and loaded green stripe mushroom rock. It looks so big in the 30g from the 90g. I have two rocks with GSPs but I think they are too large, one is flat and might be able to be set on an edge, but I don’t know if it will get enough light, but one is way too big.
Also snails can go in the SH tank too, it needs a water change of only 10g, the horses eat about 2 cubes each day, a package will go for two weeks instead of one and I don’t need to get any raw shrimp. I can use the skimmer from the reef tank. Then once benefits kick in I can set it back up.
The two 37g water changing cans will house the rock and I have about six empty salt buckets for the sand. I won’t even remove the tank and stand out of the house, just let it sit empty until I can start it up again. It will be a very long 7 months…but it will give me motivation and ideas of any changes I want to make before then, like a rock wall and such. So that’s my plan.
