WOWWWW....I know you hate it....But I think Xenia is very pretty....too bad you can't get it to stay in a back corner or soemthing....it would look like a snow ball of xenia :)

The little bit of tissue left on the LR was regrown in about 2 weeks.

Did you let the tank go, is that how it got out of control?
Regardless, I have an idea. Get some large flat pieces of rock and stack them close to the xenia, just above them...they will climb off of your rock and onto the flat pieces...then remove the flat rocks. That way there will be no remains to re-grow on the rock you no longer want them on.
I have my xenia completely climbing off of the lower rocks so I rotate them.

No, I haven't done much since it reached this state, but I have been maintaining it quite extensively. I just have watched it creep further and further. I moved all my loose zoas to the floor to get them out of the way. Which is why the floor looks so cluttered. I am not re-aquascaping because I don't know what to do. Where I cut the stuff off I took to the LFS in Tucson, it grew back even thicker. I hate the cluttered, disorganized look, but it's all I could think of to get what I could out of the way.

I work in SV. If I turn my filters off, I can get some off the back wall. PM me and I'll get some to you-el freebo.

You need to think about disposing your unwanted coral a safer way then what you’re doing now. Xenia when dead can be very toxic and pollutes water

Prove it? Don't say something that you can't back up by scientific evidence.

Haven't you heard about "THE XENIA" from the '20's? %%
Dude, this monster developed from some farm worker throwing it down the hole in the outhouse...fed off of the sewer, and took over lower Manhatten. Almost made it's way into the main land, but somebody was able to eliminate the blob with the simple swipe of a red pen.

I hear she's a hero now.

Oh yeah, I think I did hear something about that. Only it wasn't called The Xenia - it was a machinbackovu by some of my Russian friends...
