It is entirely possible that genetically there is an issue and she is completely innocent of all of this (eg Congenital adrenal hyperplasia, Androgen insensitivity syndrome). I feel bad for her...I think it would be hard these days to really hide a true male unlike in the past where it was done.
It happened recently and basically drove another athlete to near suicide.

i cant believe that south africa is turning this into a racial fight...of course thats what all us white folk do, opress and enslave the blacks...and when they do good at something, accuse them of cheating...
...i am so sick of the racism card being pulled for everything now...if its not coming from south africa..then its coming from our own damn president...

North Africa is white dominant, while South Africa is black dominant...the two have been at each other’s throats for ages on end..It has nothing to do with Americans enslaving anyone...it is about North Africa imposing their dominance on South Africa. I think England is in charge over there, Gandhi was Hindu and his people were also dominated by England. They also had/have the same complaint.
So naturally as soon as an athlete from South Africa’s side is challenged, they use the race card.
There are lots of women with facial hair and deep voices. They have more testosterone in their natural system them other women, just as some men have too much estrogen and seem more feminine, like Michael Jackson. That does not make a person any less an individual and deserving of respect than others. The slurs are juvenile, cruel and mean.

my intention was not to imply that it was americans enslaving blacks...my simple point is that whenever anything happens that someone doesnt like...the race card is pulled...look how quick obama was to call that cop a racist...some people think that obama is a racist against whites...some blacks think that every white person is racist...and some white people think that blacks are racist against them...all i am saying is that the race card is overused...especially for a runner accused of being a male...what does this persons race have to do with the situation???

I do hope people would be a bit more sensitive to what it must be like for someone like this person. What it will be like for her now...hopefully she doesn't end up suicidal like others have, if indeed this is the case.
This is not just a matter of stripping down and looking.

So what category do you make her run in? Seems to me the Athletic commissions need to address this specific type of situation. While not doping she does have an unfair advantage over most other women.
