They will need to address it and they may well strip her of the medal. But they need to do it with some amount of sensitivity. It is one thing to go after people knowingly trying to dope...quite another for an innocent person to have this happen. People seem to think it is ok to make fun of her

a while back howard stern had on a huge woman body builder and as a half joke had her take a test to prove she was a woman .well it came back she was a woman.she was fricken huge over 200 lbs ripped.
wonder if it was the same thing?

I would say they shouldn't strip her but they should decide if women with abnormally high levels of testosterone should be able to compete as a woman.

Even if she knew she didn't dope so while it might be precedent going forward as long as she met the requirements with testosterone levels etc. she shouldn't be punished.
Considering the state of health care in many countries there I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't know.

What I read this afternoon was they were going to let her keep her medal, and they were thinking of awarding another medal to the second place finisher. The Governing Body agreed that there was no doping, and they do not think she knew of her condition. The question they have now is whether they can allow her to compete as a woman in future races. My question is, does testosterone really give a person an advantage when it comes to these type of physical contests? There's women out there that can outrun just as many men as they do women.

It is unlikely she knew. It would require a lot of excessive testing that you wouldn't do if you had no reason to think it. There were no external signs of it, so...
