I have alot of Halameda and want to trade.

If there is anyone in the tidewater or n eastern nc area I am will to trade halameda for anything that you might have. I am tired of tossing it out so if interested please respond.

Here in va there is a low level of phosphates in the local water. Outside of that the water is real good. So I add lots of calcium and never do water changes. I know that many articles have been writen discussing the benifits of water changes. I also use marc wiess products I swear by them. I am the one that should be asking you for advice. I have been atempting to breed cardinals for quite some time. but I think if it is going to be successful I will need to get rid of the rest of the fish. halamedia is easy once it starts to grow it is like a weed give it light and calcium and watch it go!

If you want to buy some shop around and give me a fare price. As I said I really wanted to trade. When I started out with this stuff I paid about 15 bucks for a peice that was about 6 inches tall and two strand wide. I am will to trade for equipment as well as live stock.

Sorry if I am jumping in on your thread crazyreefnut, but I would like to know what in that photo is halameda? Is it the green stuff? Is it macroalgae? Just wonding because I got a bunch on some uncured live rock and it is growing like crazy under my NO light strip. Maybe what I have is different, but it sure looks the same. I was also wonding if I should just cut it back as it keeps growing?
Thanks and again, I am sorry for posting a question in your trading/selling thread.

Crazyreefnut -
Hang on, got the camera out then had to recharge it, finally downloaded the pics, and didn't get a good one. I will work on it today after work.

Is it hard to grow?? I throw out a handful every couple of months ....
Also - anyone know how this stuff ships as you have a different halimeada variety then I do and would be willing to trade?
