The temp outside was about 105 yesterday, I came home and my tank was 85.5!! Either my heater is bad or it was just too hot in my house, or a combination. I bought a new heater today just in case because I had neglected to look at my temp for about a week.
My frogspawn didnt look happy and neither did a few others like my monti cap and kenya tree. They are looking better, but im still worried about them because they dont look right still. My carpenters wrasse now has popeye. I believe its from the temperature increase because my water quality looks good and no one picks on him. Im not sure how to treat him because theres no way I can get him out with over 100 lbs or lr in a 75 gal tank. I tried for about 15 min, then he got smart and decided to go hide till I vacated the tank.
Do you think my corals will survive and how do I treat my wrasse inside the tank and with what? Will he die from pop eye?
