HMMMm...Well I have cut down food again.....moved one MP40 for a change of flow.....ordered the new FLuval
HOPEFULLY I will get it right one day

Should I squish them??
Nope. Control the food, control the worms.

SOOOOO No comments on the movement of the MP40????
What kind of comment are you looking for?

The biggest thing is to look what it did for you. Did the change stir up gunk for the rockwork? Can you tell if the flow is allowing the gunk to be pulled out of the tank by the overflow or is it just kind of circling around in the tank?

HMMM....Not sure......I do have a filter on the other end too......I am seeing a lot more movement on the back rocks though.....SO I am hoping that + the new filter + the order I am about to place with John (not sure exactly what yet) + lessening food (again) + IDK./......LOL....will help
I will just have to watch and monitor

Ceriths from John always seem to be more than you order. Especially the dwarf ceriths. I don't think he ever counts them. Just grabs handfuls and throws them in the bag.

LOL...I have to agree with that......the only problem with the dwarfs I have found is they like to get into the MP10's and 40's

I just sent him an e-mail with a few different things.....My issue is always going to be shipping.....express will not do overnight to me....and I have even had it take 3 days before.....most stuff will be okay, I just wanted to make sure before I place the order.....

Lois, the MP40's should NOT be directly across from one another, that might have been one of your issues.

Try Tidal Swell Mode. We switched to this and the rocks are cleaner. Once a week we kick it into Nutrient Transport Mode just to change things up and kick up more stuff.

If all my MP's are programmed together.....will it change all of them? DO I want it to change all of them?
I will have to look up tidal swell mode color....LOL

OK....My other two are peach.....and it seems they have followed the master......
In tidalswell mode......is there only one speed?????? Cause the leds now stay in the ctr and are not moving back and forth as with the reefcrest random that I had it on

I went back to the "yellow" mode....it seems in purple, the master leds stayed in one place....and the slaves went on full
BUT it did not seem as though there was a lot of movement
In the yellow mode, at least I can see the changes and the movement

Meowzer did you go to EcoTech's website under media gallery.....It should be able to walk you through what your wanting to accomplish. Personally I think their setup is a little weird, and the instructions are rather lacking, but the videos make clear sense. They should tell you that in the packing material to visit their website for great detail.

YES, I have the catalogue is in my favorites.....the little pamphlet that comes with the item SUCKS......and IMO even the 40 somewhat page manual lacks in instruction
HMMMM.....Something I find a lot of in this hobby.....anyway, I am just going to stick with my previous setting

What setting where you currently running......I've been playing a bit with mine....
I use the reefcrest random (yellow with 1st 2 leds brightist)......I like it because it is always changing speeds
The funny thing is I have 2 on the 225G.......1 master....1 slave that runs OPPOSITE of the master..For some odd reason the MP10 that I have on the 54G runs as a slave...LOL.....IDC because it is on the mode I want, BUT I have no clue how it happened........LOL....

I'm confused now. The manual states to put the units across from on another. How would you position them?
Lois, I learned how to program my mp 10's by mistake. I bought them used and they were synced together. Then, about few months later I ran into an issue where one pump was blinking the dreaded red and green. I fixed it (needed to be cleaned). I played around with the settings and now they work opposite each other. My tank seems cleaner.

LOL....I know....I read that too......all I know is I have them offset right now.....so we shall see
I did figure out how to get them to run opposite...luckily.....from the begininng,.......my tank was great at first too......BUT I think as was mentioned earlier.....I need a little more filtration and flow....hopefully by the end of this week...that will be accomplished
