Just throwing this out there.........I love jewelry but I would much rather have a romantic vacation with my hubby for a 10 year anniversary and maybe buy a small piece of jewelry as a momento. Plus I love planning vacations, 4 months to plan together is always fun. A week in Hawaii or the Caribbean snorkeling????
yes.... have admit, the planning is fun but the anticipation of going sucks. (just keep waiting, just keep waiting.)

deejeff442 - if you can make a trip to Miami, FL.
I can help you get a fantastic deal on rings. I'm a retail, whole sale and designer for diamond rings, jewelry etc.

well my 10th anniversary is coming up in september.of course i need to get the ring.but i have been looking online before i go to a jeweler.to get an idea of what a 10th year ring looks like.i figured something with a bunch of smaller diamonds like 2 1/2-3 total carets.my piano teacher has one and it is very sweet.luckily the bunch of small diamonds compared to a 1+ carat is a whole lot less.i figure $2000-$3000 .i dont mind since she will have it the rest of her life.well if she can put up with me that much longer.
i am looking for a style you think a woman would like.white band, gold band, maybe a colored stone with the diamonds around it.i have no clue and no taste in jewelry.i dont wear one piece myself.i only wear my wedding ring when we go out of town.my job would destroy it in a day.
thank ladies i know you will come up with something for me.
jeff
For my engagement ring/wedding bands, what I did was find this guy who made rings, had her draw a ring that she loved, and got him to make it. Hand made, she designed it, and it was a home run.

10 year anniversary ring? Who comes up with this crap? What do you get at the ten year mark.

I firmly believe in equal rights, (so I typically sneak to the gun store and pick something up)

years ago me,my brother and two cousins bought my grand mother a nice ring with each of our birth stones.funny because we all had different color stones.she never takes it off.
i am sure my wife would like the idea of putting the diamond in a nice setting .this way she has the one year and the ten year all in one. well i think thats the way to go.she likes wearing all the rings i get her so adding one more might be too much.
well i got my plan thanks everyone.
I'm going to steal this for my mom at some point....

Well let me know, and I'll get you his contact information, he just does it by referrals. And is in the heights area. He actually learned karate with Chuck Norris, before Chuck Norris was chuck Norris. And is a fascinating guy.
