I think my millipora is in trouble

Well the millipora is not doing to great the base was turning white, so I took meowzer advice and cut some pieces off of it higher up to try to save some of it. I used epoxy and gel krazy glue. Funny story I took a rock out that had about 20 yellow polyps on it - I didn't want them up hi so I cut them off saved a few and fragged them to a small rock. Well I almost jumped out of my skin I picked up the rock out of a small container to start working on it and out jumps the emerald crab. Scared the heck out of me. Well everything went well I think, I epoxied a few smaller zoas that kept falling off the live rock and dug out some small green zoas that were surrounded in mushrooms. See what happens, time will tell, thanks for looking.

Yellow polyps can be nasty. I have some that grew like crazy and spread over to some of my gorg. I didn't notice until I moved and pulled everything out but all the areas on the gorgs where the yellow polyps were close to had "scarred" over for lack of a better term. It really looks like a burned area on a human, an odd, thickened, uneven "scar" with no feeder extentions.

Thanks smartorl, I hope I got them all off - I still have a rock of them - they are on the bottom and not close to the main reef part. The rock I scrapped them off of doesn't look too great, I guess the coraline will cover it again.

Well AL, I sure hope you can save some of it
got any pics of your fragged pieces?
Thanks meowzer, I hope so too, I bought another PH as well today another 750, I have it pointed so it is flowing good over the acro and the fragged millipora. I will take some pictures, but it doesn't look so great.

Thanks, everyone is so supportive on here, I really appreciate it. I'll take some pictures at night, better without the sun shining in the room.

Actually hopefully there will be 8 meowzer, do you think the extra 750 PH will help, now I have 3 - 750 in the tank.
8..lol....good for you, I did not see that many
I think the PH's will help your tank in general.....acros need a moderate flow though....so don't put too much on it
Here is a picture of my PH - now they are not pointing right at the colony. Let me know what you think.
I was thinking of putting together a fragging tank.

I think it is the picture it hasn't changed much since I got it, but I was going to ask that question myself. I did frag a piece off of it as well after I pulled it out of the water it slimed up a bit, stringy stuff, any chance of seeing a picture of your new acro the pink on ( I think pink or purple) just to compare.

No problem my friend, I think sometimes we are too long on computers. But I am going to put a picture of it on here a little later.
