This is a relatively new addition, a Barbonius anthias, and he is showing raised pimples over his eye, and a smaller one further back on the lateral line. He is eating well, and is active. Tank parameters:
40 gallon breeder with 20 gal sump, live rock
Assorted corals, inverts and 1 orchid dottyback (no marks on it)
Nitrates, nitrites and ammonium undetectable
pH 8.4
s.g.=1.-25
temp=79 degrees
Ca= 350 using Salifert (I know, I'm trying to raise it)
alk=10
The pimples are raised and seem to be on the lateral and anterior sensory lines, so I don't really know what I'm dealing with. I'm hoping lymphocystis, since that will save my removing this guy to the hospital tank.
