If I commit a crime, I'm doing it in California

So we have Lindsay Lohan sitting in an LA jail, and it appears she'll only serve two weeks of a 90 day sentence. Then there's this other little bimbet who was convicted for breaking into Orlando Bloom's house, and she only served 30 days of a 180 day sentence. California says they get out early because of overcrowding and 'credits'. What happened to serving a full sentence these days?
I'm running a little short on cash these days, think I'll go rob a bank in Beverly Hills. When they sentence me to a 3 year term in prison, I'll get out in two months and enjoy my newly acquired cash.

Just don't cut any trees down in CA or else they will convict you as if you were a rapist!

Or dare idle your truck if your Hot and an OTR trucker. They will hang you by your SHORT AND CURLY HAIRS FOR THAT. However if you have a dog in the truck run it all day if you want since an ANIMAL has more right to be cool than a person in charge of a truck that weighs 80,000 lbs.

I thought bank robbing was a federal offense, might want to check before you start your new career.

You can roll your window down.... and can get out before death occurs.
And you should look up that law.

Any commercial truck over 26,000 pounds cannot idle the engine for more than 15 minutes in California. So all those lucky drivers loading produce in Imperial Valley get to enjoy 120 degree temps and no a/c. And when Donner Pass is closed they get to enjoy 20 degree temps with no heater. But yes, they can always open a window or go outside. Yes, CARB has roving enforcers driving around monitoring trucks for compliance. I hope, nay pray, that when the first trucker dies from heat stroke or freezing that California is sued badly enough to drive it completely, totally bankrupt and the green fascists will finally be forced from power. It is inhuman and indefensible.

Geez, how did we ever live without AC.
And do you normally wish such things on entire groups of people for decisions made by a few? Sounds rationale enough.
The people who can tolerate the heat should take that route. The rest should stay out of the kitchen. I'd say we round up all the construction workers in South Texas and all the migrant workers and train them to drive trucks... they live those temperatures everyday.

Yes, and tens of thousands died each year from heat exhaustion and hypothermia. Let's bring back the good ol' days in the name of a polar bear. So how many human deaths are worth it?

Learn to be heat smart... there's ways to get through the heat and ways to surely get into trouble. But I'm not so much arguing about whether they should have AC or not. Just that the law was not quoted correctly. You cannot idle your car for a dog unless the dog is deemed necessary. Pets do not fall under this description. You probably have some very valid points... but it's hard to read past your anger and death to a nation retort.

I dunno, his end result is wishing the fascist greenies out of power, which I certainly can't disagree with.
Why when I buy a battery pack, does it say "Known to the state of California to cause cancer." Am I suppose to read that and think " Oh no! Known to California to cause cancer? Guess I'll never use a battery powered device in my life."
About the celeb-twits in California, I suspect there is a legitimate overcrowding issue, and to be 100% honest, think that having room available by letting Lohan and that other one (Alexis Neihers sp.?) out early, is the best of a bad situation. Rather have them out on the street, then the 190lb bulldyk that likes stabbing whitey...

wait he wasn't being salacious? So some dogs are considered necessary? And you can idle your vehicle with the AC running. But if a person is in the car that is considered not necessary? That is ridiculous! I'll bet you a dollar to a donut, they'd idle the car for nancy...

Work dogs are considered necessary. Bringing your pet on your mall rounds is not.
Ridiculous as the bill may be... it's voluntary to drive here.

Cranberry my p[oint is a DOG has more rights to be cool in California than a Human Being. You try sleeping for 10 hours in a Metal Box with No Air Movement with the sun beating down on it and heating it up. I have heard of Soda bottles Exploding in them from the heat from trying to obey CARB. Cranberry who brings the food to the Stores you get it from a driver you hope was able to get a good nights rest because he did not get FRIED by CARB. I had a Dog with me when I drove OTR for one reason that way I could always Idle my truck. See NY had the same freaking law in the late 90's well one way around it was you want me to call ASPCA since you are going to force me to be cruel to my dog. That always works.
When the people play a part in getting everything we use in our house BUT the air your breathe are treated worse than a Dog states need to look at who is writing the laws. I bet if you told Nazi Pelosi she could not run her Air Force Jet on the Tarmac to keep it cool she would explode. So Why can't a Person that lives in that truck for weeks at a time.

Is there a way that if you drive through here your truck can be fitted with a "beyond the norm" filtration system?
Come up with solutions, lobby your arguments, change the bill....
Regardless if we need food brought in, it's still voluntary. We will pay and you will come... that doesn't make it forced work.

Hopefully not too many seeing eye dogs are left in cars.... cause then I don't wanna see who the driver is.

So following your argument the smoking bans in bars are wrong because nobody is making the employees work there or the patrons go there, it's completly voluntary......
