Just wanted to give you a bump because that tank IS SICK!!! I'm extremely jealous.
If you need any advice during the build regarding plumbing, reinforcing the floor, filtration, etc., just let me know as I recently finished my own project.
In the immortal words of the Miller Lite commercial... DUUUUUUUDDDDE!

It's going to be amazing.
DUUUUUDE, I know. This tank is going to be a task. I'm def. gonna need some help with everything, with you guys on my side, I'm sure it's going to be "SICK". Thanks!

That is a gorgeous tank for sure!!!! For skimming I would probably have a few custom made skimmers or go for the big boys... Bubble King. We have a member in our club who builds custom skimmers and they have been awesome in large tanks.
That's a thought, what kind of pumps does he/she use? I'm def. going to have at least 2. As of right now I'm thinking one of them will be an ATI bubble master and an ASM g4. What do you guys think?

OK....Is this rude......how much did the tank cost
I didn't see anyone else ask , sorry if its too personal , but that was the first question that came to me!

Oh no that's not rude. I don't think that's personal at all, the entire setup will be $5,500.00.

Really? I saw one for $1,050 shipped from an online store. Are we talking about the same skimmer CC? I think your talking about a BK...

Thats a sweet deal... My LFS has 265 complete setup (Everything but the skimmer and rocks) for 3200.00 But the clean duting on a tank that size would be a bear, I am dreading the cleaning duty on my 180 that I am putting together this summer.

Well you've got me looking at the bubble master now. I actually really like this one, it comes with 3 Sicce pumps, which seems to draw more air than the red dragon pumps on the BK. I think I might go with this one along with a g4. What do you think?

Off topic from the direction of the thread...but I don't see any puffers on that list
Guineafowl or my personal fav the mappa
. If it were my tank though I would ax that list and fill it with all different types of boxfish. But puffers are a very close second to my favorite, and would do well with that list. JMHO

I'm sure they'll get really aggressive if you don't feed them for a day or two lol.

its exactly 838 gallons according to a site i found that does calculations lol thats a hella huge tank bro, congrats and cant wait to see pics of this build comin along
Sorry but your are exactly wrong, it's not 838 gallons "exactly". Exact volume is 837 gallons 3 quarts and 8.73 ounces + or - 0.01 ounces.

plus or minus 0.01 oz isn't exact either.. LOL.. standard variations and deviances are for those that can't afford more accurate tools.
