Heck with the truck. I am going to go see if I can find these amazing deals on an AK.
A good AK for 450? Have not seen those prices on an AK for many years.
Also why the grief from the reporter? Trying to debate him on this is silly. He is just a redneck trying a sales tactic.

lol, yeah, I'm not sure what her opinion of gun control is at all. That is a good unbiased reporter...

I was wondering about that $450 myself. My take on the reporter is that I don't think she was debating the issue of handing out coupons for guns, it was handing out coupons for an assault weapon. The guy also didn't get her correlation of putting God and guns in the same context. "Would God own a gun (with the assumption guns are primarily used to kill things and kinda breaks one of the Ten Commandments)? But I loved his repsonse - "Well they didn't have guns back then. But I bet Jesus would have carried a sword or knife if he needed it." (or something on that line)
Also, did you like his 'mascot' he had painted on his building? Was that Yosemite Sam?

If God is in your heart? Then God carries a gun.
With Same logic, turns out God also likes beef jerky......no big deal.
Trying so hard to bite my lip but the term EBR or Assult rifle just always gets me.

Well if you think about it, when they tried to arrest Jesus, Peter did chop off a guys ear...

That dealership offers the lowest price on any new, American-made cars in the country. If you google the name, you can find a website where you order the car from their lot and they deliver the car to you-in any state. They've been advertising on talk-radio stations for a couple years, even here in SoAz. AK's here in Az, before the last election, were running aound $250 for a good one. I haven't priced since last fall, but I understand the price has gone up.

One quick point: Soledad responds to the guy saying the couple who was killed wishes they had an AK, "We don't know that would have saved them." Really????????? So why do pilots have parachutes? We don't know that they will save them. But I guarantee the pilots would rather have them, than not. How in the !@#* do these anti-gun people look in the mirror? They'd rather all of us be unarmed victims?

A little over the top? I read the guy who was killed in Florida had a weapon in his home. But when seven people come busting in your house in two different directions with no warning, the gun is pretty useless unless you carry it on your side everywhere you go. Even then, the best that could'vr happened in this scenario is he would've gotten one or two before he was shot. He'd still be dead, but at least he'd know he took a couple with him...

No, not over the top. It is this simple: If someone breaks into your house to commit a crime against you, would you rather have a weapon or not? The relavence of how proficient you are or are not is superceded by at least having the option to protect yourself. These anti-gun nuts don't want you to even be able to defend yourself. They want you and me to be unarmed victims.

Depends on your interpretations. There's nuts on both sides of the debate. You have the extreme opponents that think they should outlaw all guns on the premise that the only purpose for them is to kill someone, defending yourself or not. Then there's the proponents who think if they don't have a gun strapped on their side at the ready, it's assured someone is going to attack them at any moment, and they won't be able to defend themselves. I personally have no issue with someone owning a gun for personal protection in their home. I have a couple just for that reason.
I don't agree with the fanactics who think they have to stock up with 15 weapons, some of them assault rifles designed specifically for military conflicts, and then say they need them for protection. Protection from what? You expecting a Korean or Al-Qaeda invasion, and you want to be prepared?
I also get a kick when I go to Academy or Bass Pro Shops, and you see these guys on cell phones talking to their buddies about what ammo is in stock. They can't just buy a round that will knock down anyone or anything they hit. They want the 2000 grain, steel cased, armored pearing ballistic version. The gun fanatics are so paranoid Obama is going to take their precious AK-47's or even 9mm pistols from their 'cold dead hands', they run amok buying every possible version of ammo available. They'll never be able to use it all in their lifetime, but by golly it'll be there if they need it.

Bionic- For training and practice to stay sharp it is nothing to go through 500 rounds per week. Some go through 1000 without issue. Buying in huge case lots is only relative to your interest and level of practice.
Like when at a gunshop if you were to mention a 200 gallon tank at home. They think it is the size of a bedroom. Beyond comprehension that it is really only to be considered moderate in the saltwater hobby.
Same thing with firearms. What some may consider a stockpile is just supplies for the next few outings to someone else. Very scray to have limits placed on buying ammo in bulk.
