oops i listed the price for the one at the depot of marine, not the one you showd me earlier. I do like how there the price is only $234. I also have to order a new overflow box for my skimmer wich is another $30 so my total will be $270. Im splitting half with my dad so thats $135 for me. So guess what meowzer? I think im going to get a sundial fixture.
Good choice IMO....LOL....And when the time comes we will talk bulbs

I'm just going to throw this out there:
Why not look into a 150watt halide?
If you're more comfortable with halides (as am I), why not just go that route. I have found halides to be a little easier to deal with than T5's when comparing the smaller T5's to just one halide. 24" and 18" bulbs are very hard for me to find in LFS's and I would prefer to not have to order them online.
I run a 150watt 14K Pheonix halide on my 14G and it is very blue, especially at the shallower depth. I had the same bulb in my 155 and it was not as blue due to the depth of the tank. I also put a lunar light strip on just for moonlights and accenting for the corals. I much prefer the color over what I would have gotten out of the T5. The heating can be a little bit of an issue depending on what the room is like that you have the tank in, but I do not have that issue.
