Sorry Tobin... this thread is so far across the map it's difficult to debate anything.
There are some people that hate the current President and Admin so much they'd blame him for the fires in Hell if they thought it would make them any political headway.

Nor do I.. especially when one considers how the Intelligence service and military were weakened under Clinton's reign and the fact that Clinton bombed Iraq in 1998 for exactly the same thing that Pres. Bush invaded over.

Home ownership and foreclosures are big problems now in the U.S... Our economy in my opnion is not in good shape. The fact that people are working is not the real problem.. these people are being forced out of good paying jobs due to layoffs and companies moving from state to state or going oversees. These people are forced to take low paying jobs that they are over qualified for. Its obvious people don't have enough $$$ to pay their bills or mortgages...so working yes... able to pay regular bills and healthcare...NO
You also can't compare how this admin handles terrorism compared to past because what is going on now has not happened before... There was no 911 and terrorism is at an all new level and never really affected us until recently

Global warming is a fact... whats causing it is what is debatable. I think we do have some responsiblity to do what we can to keep Earth in its current state of balance. If we cut our emissions we won't have the smog and pollutants to deal with, we will be healthier. But I would assume that adding additional carbon dioxide to the atmosphere does create a warming effect. I just don't understand why people are so opposed to finding new ways and more effiecient ways to carry out our everyday lives.

I really don't feel like dabating, but one thing that is true, is that I'm a believer. I do believe in Heaven and hell. I believe in God, and His gift to us. Why does every Republican say that Dem's are athesists? All my teachers talked about Democrats being athesists and the battle for office is a battle between God and the devil.

All I got to say, what makes you better than everyone else? Who are you to decide who goes to Heaven and hell? I hate when people judge each other on whether they're going to heaven or hell.

The only difference is they found stuff under clinton & bush has found nothing.

The first President Bush is the one who lead the coalition against Iraq for invading Kuwait. Had nothing to do with Clinton.
Clinton bombed Iraq in 1998. He explained the attack: "Earlier today, I ordered America's armed forces to strike military and security targets in Iraq. They are joined by British forces. Their mission is to attack Iraq's nuclear, chemical and biological weapons programs and its military capacity to threaten its neighbors..."

Federal Reserved Agency,aka; Federal reserved Act. and this great company loans $$ to the Goverment with "Interests"..Which we the Tax payers end up paying...FYI; 35% of the money you earn today goes to pay the Interest of the currency made by this private bank... if you pay Federal Income tax, then you're paying for the war..NOT 1 CENT (of federal tax)GOES TO ANY GOVERMENTAL PROGRAM..that means that literally 4months(out of a year) of work goes straight to the Federal Reserved & international Banks... Why do you think Republicans are always thinking about new tax reforms??

I am all for not creating unnecessary pollutants. Just not to the extreme of the Kyoto accords. The accords would have crippled our economy and way of life. Take a look at every country that has joined the accords and tell me if their unemployment is lower than it was as was suggested would have happened. Take a look at how their economy is doing as well.
With regards to the environment I have a saying that sums it up pretty good or an analogy if you will.
When a person takes a bath the water is going to get dirty, no way around it. But you don't take a dump in your bath water. That is my theory on environmental pollution.
I also noted after I gave you the social programs you asked for you immediately deflected it to Congressional approval or Presidential. Doesn't truly matter. It was approved by both the REPUBLICAN held congress and the republican Pres.. Now that the democrats have taken congressional office, there is talk of cutting the funding by 50%......So due me a favor and give the man some credit and admit he isn't Satan incarnate.
