Remember the Kyoto Accords (I think that how it spelled) - which is an international group of nation - looking to impose restrictions on Greenhouse emissions on developed nations. Bush pulled the U.S. out of them - because he said it would hurt our economy. When the truth is we would have had to develop lots of new jobs to help make our industries more eco-friendly. But the basic technology was already in existence - the industries just need converting over.
