how big will it get, what size tank do you need to keep it?
do you know the names of the other fish pictured?
what fish do you recommend for this size tank. (im a quick study so im not affraid of difficult fish)
the sweetlips gets about 27inches or so (longer than your tank is wide) it gets big ugly and brow and eats ALOT and poops just as much. its a really common buy because the babys are so cute. but they get BIG and ugly. I wouldnt keep one in any thing smaller than a 1k gallon.
the other two in the same post as the sweetlips are a clown fish (I'm not good at clown species but its either a percula or occilaris) the other is a coral beauty dwarf angel.

oh and the other one is a "keyhole angle fish" well both descriptions state that there should only be one anglefish in the tank or they will fight and one will likly die. these two seem to chase eachother from time to time but they do not seem to be damaging eachother. they have been together for over one yr. (if i get rid of one with the other come out more often? they seem to hid about 80% of the time)
keep whichever you choose, IMO I would keep the keyhole. They are cool fish and not as many people keep them. he is already established and the rock is mature enough to sustain him. That tank isnt the best for two angels but good luck catching one LOL.
get ri dof the sweetlips. They grow huge and ugly. Then you could probably replace him with another fish and that could help with the chasing of the angels.

I must say your a brave person taking this tank on. its in rough shape and needs a bunch of work. I would start with water changes. 20% or more at a time.
while your doing waterchanges find out how old the light bulbs are and plan on possibly purchaseing new ones.
run through the filtration system and see if you can add carbon, this will help remove DOC's that the water changes dont get. (ok I see you have carbon keep it fresh and it will suck up a lot of DOC's its most active the first week after that it declines exponentially as pores plug and adsorption levels are reached)
WHILE doing a waterchange take the bioballs out and rinse them vigorously in a bucket of old tank water to knock any grime and crud out of them. DO NOT wash them in fresh water.
For the first couple weeks I would run some sort of poly filter to catch particulates since your probably going to be stirring up a bunch of crud working on the tank.
Chances are this is going to seem a bit overwhelming at first. just relax and take your time. the only thing that happens fast in this hobby is mistakes. double check info wherever you can.,... AKA (just because I say something doesnt mean its true, same goes for everyone else in the world) no one here is going to deliberatly mislead you but we are all wrong once in a while. it never hurts to get a second and third and fourth opinion.

close up of the dead looking thing. it might be normal because there are two in the tank (are they just naturally light in color)
what kind of fish is this?
The fish is a Keyhole Angelfish. Centropyge tibicen

Can't tell what the angry coral is.

notice the fins on the other angel are tattered? thats not natural......the coral beauty is going to win that dominance match. sometimes you can get lucky in a tank the size of a 120 with more than one dwarf angel. but I think in this case the angel with the white is going to lose out.

I just made them bigger. Yeah You need to get rid of one of the angels asap. They are battling it out and the beauty is going to win. The keyhole is stressed out. I would get rid of the coral beauty. They are more aggressive. This will allow new fish to enter without much issue.

You want the fastest way or the its gonna work but take a while way?
I would get a few buckets. Fill them up with the tank water. Turn off all pumps and sumps and whatever. Grab some rock place them in the buckets and then catch the fish. Take at as much rock as you can. This will stress out your fish for only a little bit. Instead of you moving each rock and chasing the fish for an hour. Its a pain in the rear but its the fastest. People will say to use this trick or that trick. That way you can catch the sweet lips while your at it.
For tghe algae issue do weekly water changes. Run the lights for 8 hours a day. get some snails and maybe a kole tang. They are less aggressive and will mow down alage in the tank. It will take a few months to get rid of it all but its the safest way IMO

ok... so my SG was at 1.274 and i did about a 10 gallon water change and brough it down to 1.262. i need to get rid of the sweetlip and the coral beauty. the alge seems to be dieing off because when the live rocks went back in alot of it when into full shade. but even the hair alge on the back glass is looking like its going away. all of the small anemonies are looking alot better.
stressed oneless stress after one more day and they all seem to be moving around. (what kind is this? its the one/kind the clownfish likes to be in)
