You should tell us what kinda skimmer you have, so we can know the perfomance of each. Anyone use a skimmer made by the WON brothers?

That was about 3 days. The bucket will hold 2 weeks worth.

Do you have a large fish load? Does it matter how old your setup is? Mine doesn't seem to produce that much at all. Maybe 50ml a week.

Wester, mine is the one you are talking about, but it is the 150 model not the 75. You can get the 150 models on ---- for about $105.00. Mine had a crack and I got it for $45.00 and fixed it. Works great and produces what you see in the pic, which is the cup, and about a gallon of nasty brown/green water a week or so. Have to watch the salinity though, it pulls out some salt too. It is made by sealife systems by the way. I like it.
Does anyone know if it hurts to pull out that much murky water or if it is good? It stay's foam for awhile then just water?

from what i've read - you may want to turn it down so that it takes longer for the foam to reach the collection cup and thus it will be staight up nastyness and less water.
I'm still debating on what kinda skimmer to get, I have a 30 gallon and I am pretty frugal. Anyone know anything about the skimmer made by WON?
Here is the pic
