I just went and looked at your fts....why can't you move the PH to the left bottom of the tank, and move the ltp over to the left a little.....just to try it?

I could do that but I dont want it like thatr permanantly. That bottom left of the tank has a nice rock ledge where I'm planning on putting some nice flowing coral, and if I leave the PH there it'll be an eye soar and block the coral.
But I guess I can do it for now to see what happens. What if it stirs up the sand 2 much?

yeah, but I put the PH pretty low so I guess there getting a new stronger current that they have to get use to. Before the PH was directly above the shrooms so they only got a current not a streem.
I think I like the nano pump down there the coco worm flowsw more and is fully extended. I just wish it was smaller and wouldnt block the nice piece of LR for corals placement lol.

Thats what I was thinking. So how should the tenticles look for a nice flow? How I had it before? Its constantly irritating itself by its own wastes, how do you deal with those problems with your LTP?

Can't win here...LOL....Mine sways all around.....I haven't had it long enough for waste to get on it I guess...
You just need to move the PH around some

First off the tentacles should be waving loosely back and forth not blowing in any direction. I don't feed my plate. "Fungiids bear endosymbiotic algae that require strong light, but all benefit from regular feeding as well." However I would guess that you can overfeed andor feed food that is too large, which I believe is what is happening to yours. My plate gets its food from the water column when everything else is fed.

Thats also what I was thinking. Maybe I fed it to large of food and now its trying to get rid of all the waste and what not. So should I leave it be and let it do its stuff? I've stopped feeding it since all this happend, because I thought it was because of the feedings. It use to be fine when I didnt spot feed but since I started it became like this.

I put the PH back where it was. I'm just going to leave the plate alone and let it repair itself. If it dies it dies what can I do.

Leave the poor thing alone and get that hurricane blast off of it.
If you feel the need to feed it do so once or twice a week. Turn the pumps off and take a turkey baster with some frozen meaty food in it and let the food out of the baster a couple of inches over the top of the coral. The food will drift down to it and the tentacles will carry the food to the mouth.
