i noticed you mentioned a nitrate spike, i saw the pictures during feeding, and that seems like a bit too much to be feeding them. i use to feed mine every day and it would be probably 1/10 of what you feed and im starting to have algae problems too. the funny thing tho is that i dont have any nitrates or phosphates. i added chemi-clean elite and an emerald crab and alot of it is gone now but its still there. lemme know what kind of algae ur battling. mines gha

That feeding pic was of LIVE brine shrimp lol. It looks to be alot because they are moving, but within 3 mins, all of them are gone. The corals, crabs, shrimp, fish eat them all up and what ever is left gets sucked up by the filter.
I just have the regular fine green algae growing on the glass. I think the trates are back down, because not much algae has been growing again. I have to check again, but when I did a water change I took out more this time and I've been feeding every other day with smaller amounts of frozen.

I dont think we have wild hogs in Canada.

LOL...it happened too fast....by the time my husband got to the back door they were in the trees...

SOOOOO...any news on your algae issue??

yeah it has calmed down again.. The water change fixed it. I think I took out most of the spores with the old water. I cleanned the glass just before I took out water so I wouldnt leave it floating in the water coloum.
I have to test my water today to see how the chemistry is.

Remember I asked if you can switch out the gsp.. and asked for some pics and you said give you some time lol..
