The thing almost looks like the xenia tips.. but just one of them and its orangy red.

Some of my green zoas seem to be getting smaller and smaller, what do you think could be ahpening?

and maybe something are bothering them. try to look closer. remember there are stuff that kill zoas. here:

I've been studying inorganic chemistry since 1pm this afternoon! Plus I caught a head cold so I'm all messed up and out of it. My exams tomorrow at 11am:(

I havent seen anything crawling around on them, are they really really tiny or something?
Meowzer that pic doesnt look like what I had. Mine looked liek a coral of some type, had a triangular base then had feathery arms like the xenia. When I touched it(not with my hand, with the red gorg. haha) It folded up on itself like a coral would. Now that the lights are out I cant see it at all anymore. Its like it shrunk?

tiny as in microscope/ magnifine glass?
When they first started to shrink it I thought it was because the top zoas were shading them out, but now more and more are starting to shrink so I dont know lol. They dont look like their getting eaten at all, they are all still round with no chunks missing. They also keep growing so I dont know lol.

OK....so it retracts kinda like a tiny featherduster? I can not find a pic of a colonial hydroid.....I'll keep looking

No not ike a feather duster.. It folded up on itself like aiptasia do.. But the tenticles dont look like aiptasia there feathery.
