Katsafado's first ever 10g SW tank(nano)

Don't you know the name of your ro???? When I replaced my cartridges I replaced all of them....except the main membrane

I know the name of it. Those are all the filters I can use for my R/O system, I was wondering what other filter I should get. I know I needa carbon, but whats the other filter

LOL...can't you just RE-ORDER the same ones that originally came with the unit????

Well the unite I have is an airwaterice reefkeepers 75gpd unit
and when I click on replacement filters...I get this....and this is the package I buy for it
Filters and DI for Compact Reefkeeper
(1) 10 micron sediment Poly Pro (1) 5 micron Coconut carbon block (1) one micron Coconut carbon block (1) inline DI

YICKS!!!!!!!!!
I was cleanning my tank today, and I took out the thermometer (glass) to clean some coraline off it and I noticed that the top part of it was shattered. It doesnt look like the mercury (or alcohol) part was touched though.
Should I be worried? I'll do a larger W/C then I usually do just to be sure.

looks to be fine! I put a frag of the xenia near the back of the tank where I have a rock pile to make more frags, and I noticed today it rather grow up the glass! lol I'm going to have xenia and GSP on my glass, should make for a nice background.

how long has it been since that happend. one of my t5 bulbs broke inside my tank. i was worried i had water ready to do a WC and nothing everything keeps growing and looking amazing

I'm not even sure how long ago it happend. I just noticed it today, I dont really look at the thermometer that often.

So whenI got home tonight, I noticed that some of my zoas have a black carpet like thing growing on their tips. Anyone know what it could be? It almost looks like a black algae, but when I tried to scrape it off it wouldnt budge.

No tyhere not the eyelashes. The black shows on the outside of the closed zoas (the grey part). It seems to be only on half the zoa, and looks like its black algae or something. I tried to scrape it off but it wouldnt come off at all. My zoas still open so I dont know if its a big deal.
