Katsafado's first ever 10g SW tank(nano)

Sounds like a fungus or bacteria. Look anything like this? (see the black areas on the stalks?)

Yup looks exactly like that, but in some places theres more then others. What should I do? It looks like furry black stuff.

Agree with nikeSB, or try "Reef dip coral Disinfectant" from Seachem

u take the zoas out.
the way i did it
1) container with tank water
2) dip for 15 mins
3) rinse with new salt water in new container
4) put back in tank (dont add new water)
repeat for three days

I have a white one growing at the base of my green zoas, and the green zoas dont look to happy about it.

I have no idea....BUT...I have heard NEVER to expose sponge to air at all....it kills it

So I figured out why my chromis and goby went midding back in the day. While I was looking at my tank today, I saw some sand which looked like it was being pushed out of a hole i nthe rock. I looked inside the hole and saw a claw or a nose(not to sure) pushing out sand. I also always hear clicking during the night, so I'm thinking I might have a pistol shrimp or a mantis living in that hole!

well as small as your tank is take it apart and find out....LOL

its living in the worst possible rock lol.. I cant take the tank apart. All the corals have spread onto other rocks ect lol.
