I would think that the manufacturer would be able to help you. Google CPR aquafuge and take a look at some of the pictures they have of their setups. You are going to need a light to go over it to grow the macro alga and the pump. I think you will be good to go then. I would suggest looking up the Azoo Galaxy Light.
That fuge looks exactly the same as the one i have.

Red Sea
Ammonia - 0.25
Nitrate - 5.0
Nitrite - 0
pH - 8.0
Drip Stick
Ammonia - 0.25
Nitrate - 0
Nitrite - 0
pH - 8.0
So the water change did nothing at all.
Can I use a regular flouresent light for my fuge since only cheato and LR LS will be in it?

On my fuge I have a $7 clip on light from Walmart with a 60watt fluorescent bulb (economy 7 year type...spiral) in it
I have LR, LS, Chaeto, pencil urchin, snails, shrimp....all doing fine
I run the light from 6 p.m. to 10 a.m.

sounds good. Does it have to be a certain size for me to put a shrimp in it ect? Or should I leave mine strickly LR LS cheatto?
Also I was thinking of putting my filter heater into the refuge, would that be a good idea or no since the filter might suck up things growing in the fuge?

I don't think the filter should go in there, but a lot of people keep their heaters in their sumps/fuges...keeps them out of sight of the dt...
I also think it depends on the shrimp...when you look up ....look up minimum size tank, and figure out how much water is in your fuge

Its about 5g the most. But its skinny so by the time I put the LR LS and plants in it, I doubt there will be much room in the fuge.
I just think my tank looks so cluttered now with the plumbing parts of the fuge, the filter, the power head, plus i need another pump to go in there to power the fuge. BAH! I think I have to do some more rearranging.

the filter, heater, power head, Plus the plumbing parts for my fuge(to suck the water up from my tank and put it back into the tank), and tehn I need to buy a pump for the fuge to work which will be in my tank also.. The fuge is empty at the moment since I need to buy that pump.

no its a canister filter. The intake and outtake are in the tank. Spray bar + intake pipe? Both are in the back right and left corners then the power head is front right corner possitioned upwards to make a current, and the heater is in the midle back of the tank. The plumbing parts for the refuge lay next to the filter intake and outtake in the tank.

AHHHH...OK...that's the normal stuff to be in a tank

Do you really think you need a heater with a 10g? I think I have had my heaters on once....the lights and equip., will probably keep your water warm enough

TRUE....you do live in a "cold" zone

BUT depending on your rooms temp...for a small tank....I am thinking (works for me anyway) that the tank will stay the same temp as the room

Coraline algae is growing fast. Red, Pink, Purple.
Also some sort of orange algae is growing.
Hair algae is growing(if it looks like grass(not sure what hair algae looks like)).
Found another couple of cool baby feather dusters(not like the ones before darker in colour)
Decided to put my filter into my refuge but I'm going to put a stocking over it so it doesnt suck anything good up.
Also going to put the heater in the fuge.
It'll open a lot more space in my tank and be a lot cleaner.
and thats all

Well it looks like a greenish yellow so I think its dropping. When I tested this time it took like 10-12 mins for it to turn greenish when i nthe past it was green right away and stayed the same colour. I'm in no rush either way so I dont really care haha. I still have to buy my lights set up the fuge and read more.
What do you think about me putting the filter in the fuge with a stocking attached so nothing good gets sucked up??

Well the test is supposed to have results by 5 minutes..right....so anything before or after would be wrong...LOL
IDK about the filter in the fuge...sounds ok to me
