Youll have to wait on those...
I think its doing alright, only the tips were purple and the body was whitish(didnt look bleached). Now it seems the purple colour if growing down from the tips.
Do they extend polyps? I saw little white dots on the tips, and it looked like they got bigger, but werent fully extendeed

I dont even know if it is an acro... lol looks like one to me but the LFS said some moolse or something I didnt hear him.
After the W/C I just did the green dissapeared a little and its yellow now, with more purple haha
Its a mood acro:p
I see alot of growth occuring on the **hard to keep** blue sponge lol..
I also have a ton of white sponges growing in my filter which is pretty cool...
and the monti has shown rapid growth lol.. just hope the light doesnt make it grow in an ugly shape!
The chalice im still unsure of its growth so I wont comment lol.

R.I.P little clown goby, not sure why, but they always die in my tank! This one looked like he wasnt getting enough food, was very skinny and stuck to the PH.

My chalice seems to be dying in one spot, but there is growth on the ouside edges of it. I also notices another spot to have some cyano, but just contained in that area of the coral (not where the coral is dying) What should I do?
I also found out that I have a lettuce nudi which came in the handfull of macroalgae!!! Pretty cool, I think I'll leave it in the fuge to grow since there is plenty of algae in there.

as far as the cyano spot.....siphon it out
got a pic of the chalice? altho I would probably just leave it.....got a pic of the nudi? you know they only eat bryopsis and will usually starve...it may be something else

No pictures of either,
The nudi looks exactly like a lettuce one. The body is all light green, has the frills on the dorsal side, and it has two red/orange horns(probs not what they are) on its head.

p.s the fuge has a bunch of different algaes in it now. The capaura (spelling) died off, so I went back and told them LFS to just grab a handfull of algae growing in their fuge and give it to me. I have all types of algae in the fuge now. It also created a bloom of hair algae(brown, red, orange) growing on the sides of the fuge.
I got some more capaura(spelling), along with some leafy algae, red algae(on stems looks like capaura), cheato, and many more types..
there all pretty much in a ball floating around in the fuge.

I was just studying cyano for my plant biology course.
Says they like lime(calcium carbonate) substrates aka coraline algae.. Also says they are unalble to grow in acidic conditions.
The blotches are due to its ability to move, so once one individual multiplies, its "sisters" can move away from the main colony and multiply independantly.

aslong as you leave your actinics on you will be fine mom. if its pitch dark your sps will turn brown.

one way i heard that works amazing is get a dark black garbage bag and cut a piece of it and place it ontop of the cyano with a rock holding it and within 2-3 days it should die.
