Us Canadians arent use to nice weather! haha specially since its the first couple weeks of nice weather.

Yes mother haha
Time for BBQ!
Oh yeah the bristle worm trap is in the tank with all the lights off. I couldnt get it to stay in the rocks since my hermits keep trying to get at the food so it in the sand now. The directions said to put it near the bristle worms hole, but I have no idea which that is now

Any suggestions?

WEll the food is enclosed in that little tiny section....the crabs could not possibly get to it...
DO NOT put a lot of the food it will float out.....I just laid mine in the sand...they'll find it. Just check it daily, may not happen in day one....but it will

haha oh I found out the hard way already Lois haha. Nothing is in that little tube anymore but floating around in the other tubes haha but I figured it would still work since the middle tube is just to draw them in closer and the first entrance is the one that locks them in. I'm useing the plankton that came with it, is that what you used?

I have not lost a feather duster to a bristle worm before...If you catch one it will more than likely be at night...they come out after lights are out

Nope not untill I get my supplies. There stuck somewhere for the past 2 days I dont know whats going on. I'm going to wait another day or two then call the post office to see whats up.
I was hoping to get them by sunday so I can do a W/C test for phosphates and change the filter media, add the phosphate remover media(if needed).
I've been reading up on the coco worms and apparently you have to suppliment there diet with phytoplankton/zooplankton, see I told you I'd end up needing it haha. Unless I'm being lied to lol

When are you getting the livestock? You should be gradually putting your lights back on....remember...you do not want them to go on all at once

Tonight! lol I'm excited!
I really wish I could find out whats going on with my package of supplies! Its been held in a town for 3 days now! I emailed the online store owner and told him to find out whats going on, and my tank might crash because of this!(just so he hurrys the hell up!)

Well not inside but inside the cone part haha and he couldnt get out!
Dumb nassarius snails! There totally useless IMO, I know they air out the sand bed, but my finger can do the same thing haha

P.s aggitating my sand bed does nothing for an ammonia spike! I always do it when I do a W/C since my tank isnt that deep, so the new water being poured in hits the sand bed and moves it all around.
P.P.S the feather dusters I have arent feather dusters! There fan worms!
P.P.P.S Can you post a pic of your cichlid tank? I want to see it=)
