haha.. so long vacation funds;)
I think the LFS only has pink, orange, green, and some sort of red zoas. The tank they keep them in is pretty dark(blue light) so cant really see them!

Those are nice, only if the colour is the same in person..
I want to buy all the different zoas my LFS has which is max 5 types, since there all on sale for 19.99 each rock. Epox them all on that bridge LR so itll be a colourful zoa colony.

There nice, Ive seen both there tanks.
There all frags correct? IMO half that stuff is going to die when theres a grow out, wont things start to grow into eachother and the stinging corals attack the others? Unless everything was placed near things that dont sting

cant corals sting eachother? or produce toxins in water to kill off other things that are too close?
I know I've read that shrooms put a toxin i nthe water when they're being bugged

You are right to a certain extent Daniel. Coral do compete for space on the reef and some overtake others. Tis the natural way of things eh? really depends on your upfront planning and placement of coral. You can minimize some of it by the coral you buy and where you put them. Take a look at Laurens 14 biocube. I believe this was tank of the month on one of the other sites. You can see that she has mostly softies with some LPS in this tank. They are all for the most part over-running each other. I have asked her on a number of occasions if she experiences and chemical warfare and for the most part she has not. Now I would bet that if she were to have put some leather coral in this tank there would possibly have been some problems. But again, planning, placement and level of mechanical and chemical filtration can help to avoid some problems.
Here is the 14 she lovingly put together.

yeah I know what you mean. I just dont know the different types really, so when I look at your tank or the others that have tons of things I just wonder what could happen down the road. Know what I mean? haha
For my tank I think I'd have to do something like that also since its a small 10g tank!
I'm just trying to leave enough space between corals that wont mix(from what I'm reading)

Don't worry as much about the whole dying thing. Concentrate more on the stock list that will not have the aggressive competition you are thinking about. I would submit to you a 5.5 gallon tank that is crammed full of coral and the way that C'est Ma, the owner of the tank, looked at reefkeeping.

Didn't read huh, just look at the picture?
Here is her list.
• Florida Ricordea predominate, including 2 orange morphs, 2 green morphs, and one yellow, one blue, and one pink morph.
• Assorted Discosoma shrooms: Orange/red, Blue-striped, turquoise-pimpled, & "camo"
• Two very different green Rhodactis shrooms
• Three types of zoanthids; a green, a "Fire-and-Ice" type, and a mixed red & green colony
• Green star polyps
All crowded into a 5.5 gallon tank. You have ten to work with and should be able to come up with a pretty good stock list if you work at it.
• Pulsing Xenia
• Blastomussa merleti – neon green centers
• Porites (hitchhiker)
• Fungiid (hitchhiker)
• Unknown softy (hitchhiker; tiny clove-like polyps)
• Montipora sp. ("verrucosa-like")
