Don't have any suggestions myself, other than to get in touch with flricordia. He uses a fuge on all of his tanks and has experience. Good luck and keep us updated

Here is the picture. The red arrows is water flow. You can get chaeto in the Live Selling & Trading section or you can get it from a LFS. If the pump ever fails, your tank will never overflow.

ok i was thinking something like that........what should the gph be on the pump going nto my fuge ? and the water comeing out should be gravity feed right..if so i only have 1 problem with that...i cant drill the 10 gallon it is tempered glass and it says DO NOT DRILL lol......should i just pump it back out ?

i jsut may try to drill the 10 i have now..........ummmmm it seems t me if the pump pumping water in failed......it would flood my dt
please explain to me why it wouldnt

If the return pump fails the fuge will overflow, if the pump that pumps water into the fuge fails the DT will overflow a bit. But I'd rater get a 10 gallon acrylic and drill it because if you put a return pump there is a possibility that the fuge can overflow and its going to be a disaster waiting to happen. IMO if you don't have the money or don't want to buy a acrylic tank buy a plastic container and you can easily drill through the plastic container. Here is a picture of a plastic container.

ok im going to attempt to frill the 10 gallon i have.....i mean if it dont work im not loseing anything because i will never use it for anything else anyways...........im gunna use a pump going from the dt........into the fuge and let water go back into the dt with gravity
but im saying what if the pump coming from the dt into the fuge fails.......wont that make my dt flood because of the water draining from my fuge ?

Nope, if the water lvl isn't very high in the fuge, it wont flood the DT.

I'm not sure to tell you the truth... IMO get a 500-600 gph pump. What do you mean by what size line should i use going out? What size return hole?
