Ill probably stick with the 90 as planned or do a 28g nanocube hqi.
HMMMM....What did I start....LOL...ACRO, I did not mean to discourage you from a large tank....I just thought a 240G was a bit much to keep in a bedroom in your parents house...LOL....
did not mean that you should only do a nano ....sorry for that
ok??
anyways, i gotta go along with meowzer. plus you just said you have no job so why go with a big tank when everything gonna be more expensive
doesnt make sense but hey thats you. just go with a little tank that has everything in one. or if you want a nice tank then go with a 55g or around there

Honestly, Kevin you can make a really nice reef tank out of a 75 or 90g. You may not be able to keep monster fish in it but who cares. There's plenty of nice stuff you can put in there. I'd love to do a 240G tank to but it's just not practical for me to do right now untill we ditch the free townhouse we get from my wifes job and get into our own house. It's cool though, I can wait. One day, I will have it!
My neighbors wondered for over a year why my garage was so short....Finally a guy asked and then everyone got nosey!!!!!!! During the summer when the garage is open and the chiller kicks in(which is on the other side of the fish room) I have even had the township police stop and ask what was going on!!!!!!
I want sps and i hear leds dont show sps true colors. And i probably will change my mind a hundred times before i impulse buy something and stick with it.
Neither will the PCs. IMO go with either the HQI or LEDs. For every person having trouble with SPS and LEDs there's a person having great success. IMO a 50/50 white/blue split isn't always the best way to go.
