that's awesome! I almost had one of those... tank was pretty beat up though, and then the "friend" decided to get all the $$$ he could for it and tried to get me to pay almost what he bought it for...

new QT is up and running and cycle is under way. Ammonia is up to .25. so far so good. Anyone know of a good fish to graze on algae off the rocks that isnt territorial? Basically anything besides tangs and angels.

I though about that but will they graze off the rocks or just the sand? I want one that will eat the algae off both the rocks and sand preferable but dont want to add a tang or an angel as my second fish.

i got a lawnmower and hes eating things off the rocks and glass. I got 3 conches and they are sooo awesome!!! you have to get some! they are like vacuums!!! lol i have this long green algae on my sand and they get part of it and i watch within seconds it gets sucked up in there elephant nose! also they are really great they seem to pick up each piece of sand to see if there is algae if not they drop it and pick up a different piece i love them they are sooo fun to watch!
Just be careful with the lawnmower if you have any frags that can topple over i would suggest glue ing them because hes knocked down one of my acros twice now and i have had him for a day..

ya i got 3 tonga fighting conches. If you need anymore stuff such as snails or crabs or anything, pm me i know a site that has a sale and almost all snails are .47 each!. But the sale ends today.. lol they also have a few sales on some other stuff. But i ordered this mushroom ricordia pack which was supposed to have 2 miscelaneus mushrooms and 1 ricordia florida and 1 ricordia yuma i ended up getting 1 rusty colored mushroom, 1 rhodacis or ricordia yuma (im not sure yet..), 1 orange ricordia which has 3 mouths, and 1 green ricordia yuma which i think Might have 2 mouths idk. But that was like 25 dollars for all 4.
The conches were 1.99 i think and all 3 of them were 2-3 inches.
But ya let me know. They are giving free button polyps too.

would it be possible to run my QT without a HOB filter? I dont have one that fits over this tank.

ya the QT situation is going much smoother than last time. Ill keep you in mind when I frag
. But whyamisofl might have some left. he is who I got them from.
