I love your trigger, you are so lucky! You totally deserve lots and lots of good aquarium karma. You are always really kind and willing to help other people. I also understand completely what you mean about wanting one for years. It's one of those fish, that I can only dream about until that fortuitous day that I can get a larger set-up. Many things have to happen before I get that bigger tank, so it probably won't be for at least a few more years :) I

Totally understand..... been there done that and sometimes still living in the dream of having things I can't. The only reason I got this little beauty is because of the size. It is so little it will take him a few years to grow out of the tank. As for the corals...... we will see, I'm thinking shock collar Lol.
Thank you again for the kind words.

Shock collar to keep the trigger away from the corals...very creative idea! heehee
How come you had to copper treat the RG? I didn't know RG were such jumpers until you mentioned that you built a net type thing to keep her from skydiving into the back area. I think I'll have to devise one of those thingys to if I end up getting a Royal Gramma. I should probably already have one since I have a Fire Fish and they have a reputation for that kind of thing. How'd you make the net?

The portal is for viewing corals up close, like a magnifying glass, and scraper too. Lol Looks really cool while looking at for awhile. After checking things out for 20 minutes, the coral look real tiny in regular view. I will have to find the catalog where the wife got this from. I really like it. The sun corals are indeed beautiful, and thank you. They haven't opened much lately for there weekly feeding, keeping a sharp eye out on them. The Wifes sun corals spawned and now she has yellow and black baby sun corals in various areas in her tank. Really cool to look for.
Read Joes thread Terri about his gramma. I copper all my new arrivals. I then observe for potential unwanted issues. If there is ich some where unseen to me, the copper will hopefully kill it off in the 5-6 weeks the fish is in there. The tricky thing with copper that I've seen is the pH likes to drop, and drop dramatically. So....... I have to check it daily and sometimes twice a day.
V-dose is Vodka dosing.
