Well, the story was buried, the hospital reports disappeared, the police report disappeared and, likewise, the stripper herself was killed shortly afterwards. This evidence clearly can be used to discredit Kwame, who has claimed that the party never happened, and it can be used to show a motive for causing the death.
So the EMS worker treated her after the party... How did all records disappear? I can see police, but hospital too? And if there is no record... isn't hard to prove the case?

Yep... but now a woman who worked at the police department and the EMS driver have both come forward with identical claims. The witnesses also show how deep this cover up went. Unfortunately it reflects not only on the corrupt mayor, but also shows that the hospital and police department played roles in eliminating the records.

interesting

Do you think he or wife played a role in her death? 2nd, why the need of the intial cover up after the party? Were the officers that arrived the ones that were fired? Were there charges on the wife for the beating?

I don't really know what has gone on here. I'll tell you this... the more I hear about what has gone on, I no longer think that Kwame is a simple street thug who was elected mayor. This guy seems highly organized, connected and I do believe that he had something to do with the stripper's death.
This whole mess started with the party. All the records from the police and hospital for the stripper are gone. She turned up dead shortly thereafter. No one was ever charged with anything. The two senior police officers who were fired were fired for investigating the assault and party.
It's kind of funny... the party and even the infidelity are not that bad. But Kwame fired the officers for investigating the party, got hit with the whistleblower lawsuit, settled the case for more money than the jury verdict to keep his indiscretions secret. Now, he is facing 10 felonies, 8 of which were a result of the whistleblower case and the other two were during an attempted service of a subpoena. He is being sued for attorney fees, wrongful death of a stripper and he may be removed from office after today's hearing. The majority of these issues have come down to his covering up and then having to cover up his cover up.
Good lesson to the kids out there.

All that for 10 mins of fun. How things get out of control really quick. It seems a bit much for what happened at the party. After reading all this it seems like he did it all just to get the rush from doing it.
Big city cops can be corrupt but look what happens when they actually do there job. After all that has happened, Kwame had to of offered a bribe before firing them.

Yep... it's all over. And he took a bunch of people with him. Christine Beatty also entered a plea today, the Chief of Staff was fired and the Deputy Mayor were fired. Chief of Police, Ella Bully-Cummings (AKA Kwame crony), resigned.
Heads are rollin.
wow... even the chief of police... that is sad.. wasn't her hiring a big deal... so what happens from here?

That's really the question. Ken Cockrel Jr. will be the interim Mayor, which is interesting because City Council has problems of their own with the Senegro scandal and the FBI investigations. However I don't think that Ken Cockrel Jr. has been implicated there.
I wonder where Kwame goes from here. He is still a very intelligent, very charismatic individual. He is an ex athlete, disgraced former mayor and he has lost his law license. Where does this guy end up? He still has a huge network of contacts. I wonder what's next for him.

that's the question. I can't see a guy like that being down for long. It seems city is split 50/50 love/hate.

It's more like 90/10 love/hate. And the 10%, IMO are just people who are foolish enough to have bought into Kwame's race baiting.

Good question. I don't know if surrenduring the license was a part of his negotiated deal or will be done by the grievance board. In either event, I would find it hard to believe that any state's board of ethics would overlook what has happened here.

So some right wing group made this add about kwame. IT is about 1/3 the way down the page.

That's pretty effective... not accurate at all as Obama actually asked Kilpatrick NOT to attend the Democratic National Convention, (assuming that the judge would have allowed him to go while on bond). However the link and quotes are very prejudicial to Obama.

They are accurate, obama did say those things. And hindsight is 20/20. By not letting the guy show up at convention. When I a biased conservative see that, I don't make the leap that it was ment to tell the story of his relationship or a connecting between obama and Kwame, insinuating possible wrong doing or insinuating that obama's bad friends are influencing him. But I see a problem with Obama's judgement . Not able to recognise a bum when he sees one.
IMO a real simple argument to dismiss this commercial and Obama's speech. Would be something to the effect saying he was just stumping for a fellow politician. Like John McCain calls everyone "my friends"

This whole story reminds me of that movie Very Bad Things.......I don't know if anyone has seen it but it is almost unbelieveable that someone could get away with all these things and not get caught immediately. Amazing.

I love that movie. I have it on DVD. i love the ending when cameron diaz ends up running out into the street going crazy.. she got what she wanted

Anyway that ad is silly. Politics is silly, Do you know how much Obama would of been bashed by the NAACP, and all the African American leaders if he did not endorse kwame as a friend. He had to or it would of been political suicide. Now that kwame is busted he is trying to distance himself. I am assuming obama said this before all this stuff went down.
I am not an obama or mccain supporter, neither seem that fit to lead so i am still on the fence. So not being biased has actually put me in a place where i can see the absolute rediculousness of all of it.
