Lagoon Pic

Just a standard bulkhead.
One mistake I made that I can't fix but easily avoided.
Cut a piece of plywood or other thin firm material in the shape of a large doughnut. The center hole of the doughnut needs to accept the bulkhead and the material of this doughnut needs to be wider than the flange on the bulkhead.
This will better support the seal. Without this (like mine) the insulation slowly settles after a year and the bulkhead will leak. Tightening the bulkhead stops the leak but the gasket (plywood doughnut) would have eliminated the need to occationally tighten the bulkhead.

Thanks for the reply! I can't wait to get started on mine even though it's less than half the size of yours :joy:

The fish in the lagoon can swim into the bowtank? or just a water flow source?
