Good Luck.
where are you getting it from??
I would call around and see if anyone has had one for a week or so in thier shop before buying it.
I can get you a list of numbers for local shops

Thanks T but I went the local root here with four shops three just specializing in salt water the one I received today was under a 14day say alive policy so that’s the one I received this will be my last attempt at a RG I would hate to be known as the MAN WHO KILLS ROYAL GRAMMAS

Not really sure what you mean I maintain two QT tanks at all times when I don’t have any fish in them I rotate filter media that I store in my sump in my DT with the material in my QTs and ghost feed if I need to treat for any illness I do so then empty the QTs clean them and let them air dry for a few days and start to recycle with the seeded filter material I can assure you my friend an unicycle tank is not my nemeses with RG (daly water tests on all QT/HT)

sry, i guess i misunderstood i thought you said your tank was empty, and thought that since you have to cycle qt's this may be a reason towards your rg's not doing well.
feed it mysid shrimp, brine's no good no matter how much you fortify it with.

48 hr up date my RG made it through the night, I tried to feed him frozen brine plus that I soaked in garlic extreme no luck I went out and got some life brine(I know not the best thing to feed but I wanted to see if he would eat live ) he eat the live brine with gusto im not jumping up and down yet I have been this far alone only to have them die I am thinking even thou he shows no signs of ick do I risk putting him through the stress of hypo or roll the dice or wait and see

at least use selcon to gut load the brine. also try adding mysis to the live brine and see if it will go for the mysis. Good Luck
