Wow how sick is this I was in bed falling asleep and all of a sudden I think I know what you mean, if you look at the pic of my QT you will see it is on a flat surface not on a stand that will allow the fish to look through the bottom of the tank to the floor thus not allowing him to swim to the bottom is that what you mean

Joe,
If everything goes good from here on out how long will you leave him in the QT before adding him to your DT? I am getting pointers from this post as a RG is one of the first fish I will be adding to my 29 Gal.
Good Luck, Steve

Of course we're counting. This is the biggest drama since "Who Shot JR". Glad all is well, a good appetite in QT is always a positive.

I go by the recommended 14ppt salinity I have never seen a refractometer that has the 1.009SG line up with 14PPT i use the PPT side

Yes, without canada where would I get my maple syrup? It would be a sad day in texas without maple syrup for my waffles. My only problem is that it is just to dang cold up there.
How is the RG doing now?

that's because PPT is a more accurate number, since it is not temperature based.

Oh then please explain to me exactly what the “I cant swim down there” syndrome is and how it relates to the later pics
