Have yall ever tried one of these? Keeps my hands out most of the time. A little difficult to handle stuff from time to time but gets most stuff in and out for me.
I have one of them....that and I also use the "gopher" from Walmart......it's great for bigger stuff...but not water prrof...so even though you don't leave it in, the SW eventually makes the screws fall apart.....I am on my 3rd...LOL...

I don't mind putting my hands in the tank, I can reach the bottom easily, its only a 55g. The only time I don't like putting my hands in the tank is when the clowns are hungry and keep biting my hands...

Well my 225G is 30" deep....I can barely reach 1/2 way :(
PLUS....it's not good to put your hands in the tank too much.....you know skin oils and all

True, I forgot about that.
Especially since I don't have a skimmer yet.
I'll figure something out. I just need something to grab the rock with.

It's interesting how we went from feeding a blenny to algea clips, to ordering online, back to blennies, and now devices to grab stuff in your tank. Lol.
Should be lots of info in this thread for other people.

Don't use it..I always read that any exposed metal is no good for your tank. Use some clear fish line to draw a regular plastic clip up and out of the tank..

Mine is 100% natural materials! (my hand)
Is he not eating algae sheets?
I'm happy to say mine was a happy little pig after all the algae he ate today.

Well he eats algae sheets but my sailfin is a pig and gets in the way. I wish they would feed at both ends of the tank.

That's what I did, and once your blenny realizes it's a food soure it will love it! Mine knows the feeding rock now, and knows what happens when I take it out of the tank and then put it back.
How are you feeding it? Try rubber banding the algae to a rock, as it's a more natural place for it to be, until it starts eating the sheets. Then move on to clips.

Oh. I've been trying to figure out what I'll do when I get my flame angel. I'll probably put the nori in, and then distract everyone else with frozen, so the blenny can eat.
But it took my blenny about two hours to eat a 1"x1" piece of nori today, so I guess they can both just graze.

he does fine with it on the clips but I do want some sort of weighted clip or magnetic clip to get it lower in the tank. I wish he would eat frozen like the sailfin. He eats everything in front of him.

When mysis goes by my blenny, he doesn't even watch it, he ignores it.
Although he did chase pieses of nori that got away from him, so he will take stuff from the water column, which I was glad to see. I haven't given up with frozens for him yet.
