I've been married now for 4 months, and do consider myself an expert on the subject. And would like to discuss some of the finer points of marriage. To help out all the woman out there who struggle relating to their perfect husbands. One of my biggest problems with marrage is the stinking bobby pins that are EVERYWHERE. In four months, I can go around everywear and pick up all the bobby pins in my house, recycle them and make more than the jokers who stole t316's AC unit. It is absolutely rediculous. Today for example, I am cleaning the house, and have found about 50 or 60 just laying around various places on the floor of my apartment. so all you woman out there, please be considerate and put your bobby pins where they belong.

My wife doesn't do the bobby pin thing but we have ponytail holders all around the house.
They don't bother me other than creating more mess in the house. But wait til you have daughters... bobby pins, bows, ribbons, hair ties, headbands, etc.

I've got you all beat. I've been married for 4 years. About 2 years ago we got a cat. By some act of God, the cat developed an overwhelming attraction to the bobby pins all over the house.
EVERY MORNING, my wife's ENTIRE STOCK of bobby pins and rubberbands were in the cat food bowl.
I didn't even have to "train" my wife - the cat did it for me. As I think of it, it's pretty sad that my cat is more likely to train my wife than I am. Don't know how the planets aligned on that one.

Train the wife?? HAHAHA Funny lil fella aren't you?

You guys are silly! Remember how I said the planets aligned? And how my cat is greater than me?
I know my place in the world.

Now, just teach your fellow men that and there will be no more arguments in the world

She's always right and I'm always wrong. When I am right, I'm still wrong. When I swear that I am right, I am no longer right at all, but in trouble and on the couch.
So I'd rather be wrong and in my bed than right and on the couch. Unless I'm boycotting, which means I'm on the couch either way. This has never actually happened, as I am to scared to boycott.

The raised eyebrow isn't crap. It is the deep intake of breath that tends to suck everything out of me...right be for her mouth opens up and emotionally driven thoughts start spewing out like the finale at the New York 4th of july fireworks show.....

How sweet it would be if it were possible. Again, I've been married 4 years and I'm still learning... it's a tall order to teach all the men the things I've learned, especially when it takes 4 years just to teach a single person.

What we need is for my wife to get on this thread. She'll mop the floor with everyone!

Seriously, my wife (Jenna) rocks. She's the coolest person. When we had our first baby, she was 9 lb's and it only took Jenna 6 hours to give birth - no epidural. She's a strong gal.

HAHA!
My mom is the best. When I say something that makes her mad, I swear her eyes bug out of her head, and when she says something, her entire head like vibrates or something. It's a good thing I have a strong bladder...

Now stdreb, I am sure bobby pins are not a big deal compared to the large masses of stuff that she has to clean up from you

Actually, I work an 8-5 she is still working retail and works all kinds of weird hours. I live about 5 minutes from work, she is about 40 so, I do most of the cleaning, and laundry.

But, I did have a lot of fish stuff. Now I've consolidated.

She's not into the whole forums/technology thing. She hates AIM too. I think if she came on here, she'd stay in "The Aquarium" and keep away from the political threads (which is like 99% of The Aquarium anyway) Although she doesn't really know a whole lot about SW fish, she's become very excited about the hobby since I got involved. She used to hate how much money I would spend at the fish store, but then she went with me one day, and we ended up spending over $300 on corals and stuff... and I just wanted to buy another floating hydrometer!
Interesting how easily the roles reverse.

Consolidated your fish stuff? Is she not into fish? Sorry, there are a lot of wives and men around. I forget who's wife does or likes what.
You know I was just busting on you.
