Which of these are actually for sale right now? I searched and cannot find any of them. Availability would pare the list of possible zoo choices down quickly.

if it's not too late, i'd be in

my tank is not up yet, so by the time my frags would come due, my tank should be up and ready (assuming it'd be over a year?)

Bronco, the theory here is good, but I don't think its going to work. Your asking for someone to invest money, take the time and trouble to grow out frags, and then turn around and sell them for a very cheap price. Why would they agree to that, when they can do the exact same thing and sell them for the expensive price they payed for them in the first place?
I like this idea. Limit it to 10 buyers per frag, but I recommend that we invest enough to insure a 3 polyp frag minimum to begin (so price may vary per person per frag). Then, as Alix2.0 suggested, as each person get their individual frag, they agree to continue to offer frags on this site at the same reasonable price per polyp they got theirs for. That way it snowballs and eventually you have lots of people offering the same polyp for a reasonable price. Individuals can invest in as many initial frags as they have interest in and money to spend, until each frag hits ten. Let the QB limit the total number of zoa species s/he is interested in maintaining and fragging.
I like these Ideas

List is growing; we need some decisions on QB, a planner, and a definite choice on zoas.

5. PerfectDark
6. joebob7

Also been suggested we need a way of validating those who are interested (length of membership, post count, age, etc.) Doing so may or may not eliminate some of those who have already indicated they are interested?! My personal feeling is if they front the money their in ~ if they want to walk away and leave their investment, thats up to them
? Thoughts?

there is always that possibility. but sometimes things work out.
I think the original poster should just lay down the ground rules for this and THEN see who wants in. its hard to say "I want in" and mean it, when there are no actual rules to what IN means.
the concept is good but the guidlines/rules need to be solid. so no one thinks they are getting shafted or winds up that way.
