I have been off this site more than on but I come back and there is nothing on, kinda like a boring night at the movies. So, from the vets to the noobs lets see your tanks. Show off your rock work, corals, fish, anything your proud of. After all, you have invested time and money into your pieces of ocean, show it off.
This includes you Henry and Joe!
One of my favorites. The royal Gramma My other new addition, my little huma huma aka Titan!

QT with new corals from Florida and macro. My sun Coral..... one of my other favorites

My tank, soon to be revamped........... (56 gallon reef)

So, I kicked it in, start posting

Here is one from when it was first set up back in July 2011 (With my oldest daughter Tallulah)
This one is just before Christmas 2011.

Thanks Kiefers. I tried to post an updated FTS but my computer here at work is not gonna let me do that today. I would have to say I love a lot of things in the tank but I love the two skunk cleaner shrimps. And I am just starting to get into keeping some SPS corals.

I am trying some black construction paper on the back of the tank to see if I want to cover the back. I might just get a nice all black background and attach it to the back, OR what I might do is paint the back of that little cove where the tank is black. What do you guys think?
I am also working on plans to add a canopy to the tank. I am really hating the way the lights look with all the wires.
Here are the two sides, one covered in black paper one not. I think the black makes it pop more and hides the wires. But would painting the back wall do the same thing??? We will see.

Couple pics of coral. Orange Lobo (left) and Green Slimmer (I think that is what it is) on the right

Very nice! Have you thought about having a shadow box look? I will try and locate the thread someone who got me interested in it. I believe you would like it.

Any background is better than none at all. If you painted the back wall...it won't hide the wires, so do something, anything...it really makes a difference. I am posting two pictures, one without a background and one with a cheap plastic background sold in any fish store...same tank

I am currently in the thought process of doing something different with my back drop, still in the thought process and will share some other time. Actually, come to think of it, I believe Spanko turned me to the back drop on the right........ curse you Perry, *cough cough*.... Spanko the teacha!!! (he's the devil) Lol.

Yes I saw that shadow box...it was lovely and I made a mess when I tried to do one and gave up...I'm not handy at all. I was just showing how something as cheap and common as a plastic background can make such a difference on how the tank looks. Literally anything is better than nothing.
