Powder Blue has calmed down already leaving him alone. I'm feeding only his favorite foods, and he is eating, keeping fingers and toes crossed.

Thanks Joe, that is the job foe next week, I want the Pakistan to acclimated to its new surroundings B4 I start messing in tank.

Well my Pakistani Butterfly died last night, this fish that needs to be left in the ocean. I have tried twice to keep this fish in a fish only system. After a long QT of over 2 months, both fish had to battle threw illnesses, Ick; worms and Lymphocytic. The fish was introduced to 135gal DT; all was fine for 3 weeks. Then signs of larghetto and stopped eating, the only other signs were, fraying of its caudal fin and pale color around gills with rapid breathing. There were no outwards signs of parasites. The only conclusion is this fish may survive if kept alone or in a pair and possibly with small less aggressive fish. I took tank prams, yesterday: salinity 1.026; ammonia 0; nitrates 15; PH 8.2; temp. 78; dkh 9; cal. 420. All other fish are fine, no signs of anything wrong.

Gosh Jack... i'm sorry that this didn't work out for you... it's such a shame since I know how much effort you put into this particular fish... sigh...

Thanks guys for your kind words, I'm going to concentrate on improving conditions in my tank. Adding macro to sump with a refug. to grow out pods and buy a new protein skimmer. I think I'm only suppose to have the fish I have. Next year I want to upgrade my reef.

I feel your pain. I recently accepted that my tank just won't accept new fish. It was an expensive lesson for me, I lost an Achilles tang, Borbonius Anthias, 5 resplendent Anthias, and my blue star leopard wrasse male :-(

Ohhhh. that hurts. I was in the LFS yesterday, saw a cream angel, was very tempted. but since I didn't research it I didn't buy it. So I researched it this morning and I leaning towards it. But need to buy more live rock first, but once QT is empty maybe.

Thanks, Gemmy, I put a warning on the reviews to let others know to stay clear of this fish. At the same LFS there was another Pakistan Butterfly for sale look just like the one I just lost. I asked if they hear back from the buyers of these fish and they said no, or wouldn't tell me the truth. I told them of the problem I don't think,it will stop them from selling more, as long as people keep buying them.

I am bummed. I had high hopes for this fish.
Sorry for your loss.
Me too, after the long battle in QT, I thought for sure he was going to survive along time. It was really heart breaking for it to go down hill so fast. He was also excepting other foods that it wouldn't touch in QT.
