Well my Pakistani Butterfly died last night, this fish that needs to be left in the ocean. I have tried twice to keep this fish in a fish only system. After a long QT of over 2 months, both fish had to battle threw illnesses, Ick; worms and Lymphocytic. The fish was introduced to 135gal DT; all was fine for 3 weeks. Then signs of larghetto and stopped eating, the only other signs were, fraying of its caudal fin and pale color around gills with rapid breathing. There were no outwards signs of parasites. The only conclusion is this fish may survive if kept alone or in a pair and possibly with small less aggressive fish. I took tank prams, yesterday: salinity 1.026; ammonia 0; nitrates 15; PH 8.2; temp. 78; dkh 9; cal. 420. All other fish are fine, no signs of anything wrong.
