For sure, if they dont work, I might just throw it in my 24g and call it a day. Although I doubt I'll ever see it in here.
you most definitely won't lol...
keep it in the 8gallon.. I'm sure a group would always display at each other...that's what they're for anyway. haha.

Heres what Im going to do I think.
2 picasso clowns,1 rainfords goby, 1 hi fin red banded goby, 1 yashia goby, 1 hectors goby, 1 sixline.
2 sexy shrimp, 1 pistol shrimp, 4 blue legged stripe hermits, 4 red legged hermits, and some sort of decorative crabs
also, CORALS GALORE!
thats all

now thats gonna look great man, cant wait to see it all set up, with corals, a BTA, did i get that right?, for the clowns, with the goby's and wrasse just toolin around, it should look awesome
now daggumit, how come everyone tells me no crabs in a reef tank and now ur doin em? LOL whats up with that? i want some dwarf blue legs and some electric blues in mine

no, no anemone. I dont think my stock lights will support them, Ill probably get a hammer or a frogspawn for the clowns to host.

whoaaaaaaaa hold up a second, u mean they'll host frogspawns? i mean, i know one person on here posted that her clowns hosted her frogspawn, but i just thought that it was like, a uber rare event or something? hmmmmmmmmmmmm looks like i need to be doin some more research LOL

yeah, its alot of fish, but Im not going to be doing it all at once, and Im sure it will be a while before I come across a few of them. I'll probably tone it done, loose a few fish, but those are definately the ones Im choosing from...
Clowns will host anything. Even a powerhead. Any soft coral usually will do

now that is some really good news, cause i knew there was no way i could do a anemone right from the start with no experience, and was a lil worried, i mean, everyone says they're fine without one, but it just doesnt seem right for them not to have something, u know?

if you do that list... add the sixline last and make sure its really small... all the other fish should be VERY established before he goes in..

you can definitely do hermit crabs, I just get tired of losing snails to them so I don't do hermits anymore.

I dont have snails, crabs only :)
I have a few hitchiker stomellas (i think they're called), but they dont have a shell for my crabs to steal. Its all on preference. They're clumsy too, but I like them more than boring snails. Although I have a huge mexican turbo Im going to stick in here when I break my frag tank down.
I may drop the six line altogether. Too many ppl having trouble with them being aggressive to their other fish. I think it may be gobies and a clown pair only.

I wouldn't mix multiple firefish in a small tank unless it was a single species pair.. adults are pretty intolerant of each other except for their mate.

ok. then a diamond goby instead of the red firefish
nooo.... lol.. I won't even attempt a true sleepr goby in a 24gallon tank unless the sandbed was 2 years old...they'll starve very easily with a new sandbed. I wouldn't get the rainford's or hector's until at least 4 months in and that's if your sand is out of previously running tank.... if its all out of a bag... wait at least 8 months.

its ls already. The tank was set up for about a year. Hmph, I guess Ill just see what I find. I probably wont even stick to a stock list. Just get them as I go.
