I didn't read all the posts...I love the show. I have figured out thus far that the only people who are "LOST" are those of us who watch it. None of it makes sense. The fun of watching it is to try and figure out what the heck is going on.
I keep seeing stuff they say is "last time on lost", but I have watched every one of them and I never saw that one episode or something. AGGG I even rented the DVDs of each season and I am still LOST.
The smoke monster is Locke??? Did they split into parallel universes? The other themselves are happy now and got off the now landed plane safe and sound???
They certainly aren't happy in the parallel universe where the plane landed. Some are more miserable and some are happier so far.
If it made complete sense and was predictable...then it wouldn't be worth watching.
The only downside is that I'm not surprised by things any more. Sayid magically came back to life. If this was the first time I had seen the show, that plot twist would have interesting me more.
The writers make it harder and harder on themselves.
I don't care about that stuff. Here's the main reason I like Lost.
For me, the best books and shows are those with the most complex characters.
Lost delivers this. The characters are very complex and if you watch the show for an extended period of time, you really get to understand them.
I mean, when Locke came back it was obvious that he was not the same person. The fact that the subtle differences give this away is awesome. The actors are great as well.
I hate reading books or watching movies where the characters are one-dimensional and the focus is mainly on the progression of the story.
