I have lots of things to ID. We will start with what i believe to be bad things:

same thing, more color

I have no clue as to what this thing is

another shot of the same thing

Nice things to follow in the next post....

Is this some kind of Zoa?

What is this coral? Best i can describe it as "ball coral" LOL

Sponges, but what kind?

I am refering to the orange spots there. More to follow in the next post.....

More sponges, of the yellow variety. I think we are going to call them sponge bob's house as it does have a door to get in with windows.

Nother shot of the same sponge

A neon yellow sponge?

Sponges stuck onto some kind of red algae i think. verify that they are sponges and what is the red algae?

I know this is a feather duster, but what kind specifically? It has little black spots on the feathers.

And finally, what kind of macro algea is this? I was assured by the LFS that its good stuff and clings to rocks.

The last pic...I believe is Halimeda

The feather duster is just a plain old mini duster

The red, I believe to be a type of caulpera

Green stuff in the sump is grape caulepra. Says that I need to prune it often.

The red algae is Botryocladia uvaria from what I have gathered. It seems to be a nusiance aglae from what i have read. Any advice?

FUNNY....the Botryocladia is not in my algae book :(

BUT I found this

This species forms clusters or stands of grapes similar to Caulerpa racemosa or bubbles, similar to the green Valonia or Ventricaria species. The better looking species, e.g., Botryocladia uvaria and B. pseudodichotoma are tasty to many herbivores, and also quite sensitive to changes in water quality. The B. skottsbergii species, often called Red Valonia is quite devastating, therefore read carefully its description below.

It is definatly not that bad stuff. I have seen plenty of pics of it and its not that. It appears to be the good tasty stuff. It looks extremely similar to

Which is the good stuff. The bad stuff looks like plain buble algea that grows on the rock. this stuff is on stalks and whatnot. What kind of critters will eat this stuff, fish wise?

I think tangs will eat it, the dwarf angels, I'm sure there are other herbivores too...LOL

You can try lemon juice on the aptasia....it never worked for me. I think I mentioned that I bought Joe's Juice....worked GREAT...never had one come back after using that

meowzer id'd everything already.

yes, that algae is okay to have, however, i'm not a fan of any macro algae in my dt, as it all can become a nuisance. i would rip off what you can and put it in the sump.

that is hidden cup coral from the best i can tell.

So my "ball coral" is hidden cup coral? It doesnt quite look like the other stuff though. Hopefully whatever dwarf angel we get will eat the red stuff. Wife and I did the lemon juice again last night on all of the remaining aiptasia but one. So far this morning, we can only see the one we didnt squirt. We are crossing our fingers.

Edit : damn it s%*$. I spotted a few of the aiptasia. Heading out to the LFS to get the Joe's Juice.

I cant find a place around here that sells it. Can you post a pic of the bottle so I know what to look for? The one LFS that I went to when asked if they have joe's juice replied, "what is that? Who is joe?" All i can find is the aiptasia-x. I bought a bottle and will be trying it very soon. Check the tank thread for the results.
