for those who want to see what i look like, i'll post in the members photo thread.
my training is going quite well and i believe the tank will be fine. slice will be leaving a very detailed list. i did tell him that if he happens to come home and there is a wreath on the door, it's a sign that something died--lol!
again, thanks for the welcome wishes. you guys are crazy--just my kind of folk.

I'm half-way through this trip and nothing has died yet...from what I hear anyway...
Seriously though, Dee has done a great job! I'm interested to see how much growth will be obvious after being away.
Umm...I mean after greeting the wife and stuff...yeah, that's what I meant...

It's nice when your other half takes interest in your tank. Mine.....well that's another story. I've already made it clear if I die the tank goes to my best friend. Otherwise it would rot and she doesn't even know what the fish eat.
She use to go into the fish store and shop with me, now I can't even get her to do that.... I guess the honeymoon is over.

Sorry to hear that, I'm very lucky.
Dee has bought most of the fish and shrimp and several of our coral, bought all of the initial start-up equipment and has been extremely supportive.
It would suck not to have that, I feel for you.

my 2 week tank duties were a success!!!! nothing died and slice was impressed by my level of care
. it took me a few days to get into the saltwater groove, but i had it going on in no time. i rock!!! would not call myself an expert just yet.
