i know this, but, i also know how to control said problem, i dont get around people all that often, and when i am around them, im around animals at the same time. im fine at rodeos and horse shows and what not, but at bars an clubs an what not, i dont even bother goin inside.
so youre fine with cowboys jabbing spurs into the front quarters of a horse or a bull being electricuted to buck higher and harder???

have you ever been to a bullride? they are not electrocuted at all, i used to ride bulls, wasnt good enough to go pro, but i was decent, everyone is always saying that the bulls are electrocuted, an so on an so forth, the bull rope, with the big bell on it, is tied loosly around his flanks, and they dont have tod o anything to them to make them buck, that is bred into them, and the spurs they use are generally speaking just straight bars, no rowels or barbs on them, they dont need em, the horses an bulls are bred for the bucking and fighting instinct. and on top of that, those animals are better taken care of than most people take care of their dogs.

Let's play a game. You hold a key. The key will unlock 2 rooms. In one room is your child. In the other room is your dog. Each room is packed with dynamite. Upon opening a door with the key the other room will explode. who do you save?

look real close at his spurs mate, he's got em stuck in his rope, not the bull, when ur riding a bull, u dont spur him, it just pisses him off even more, trust me on this one, i know from several years of experience. ive ridden saddle back bronc, bare-back bronc, and bulls, and i cant anymore, im sad to say, cause of the shape my shoulders are in. but, using spurs on a horse they way bronc riders do is the equivalent of using a pinch collar on a dog, the shoulders on a horse are where his hide is the toughest, its aggravates him, but thats pretty much it, and on a bull, u never, EVER use ur spurs, u dig into the rope and hold on, if you use ur spurs on a bull, your in for some serious pain. and, if youve seen them use shock prods on a bull, call the whichever organization was putting on that rodeo, be it the prca, pbr, rca, irca, and so on, and report them, thats highly against the rules, and gets people hurt, an hurt bad. and if u look at the rope on his flank, its tied loose, when its not tied loose, people get hurt and or killed, thats what happened to me in my final ride, i almost got killed cause some idjit tied the rope tight. i grew up at rodeos and horse shows, and spent 3 summers working for a stock contractor, so trust me on this one, those animals are not mistreated, no matter what people think. ive met several members of the pbr, and even ridden a couple of mediocre pbr bulls, so yeah, i know what im talkin about when it comes to rodeos and bulls

SWF.com does not, in any way, support the promotion of violence, regardless of the cause for said violence.
Besides, it seems everything that could be said on the original topic has been said, both in and against Vick's favor.
