You just despise unions, period.  I could care less about the Wisconsin state budget because I don't live there.  You're crying that Obama isn't doing enough to cut spending, but cutting back multi-million dollar pensions for officers is taboo.  You hae no problems with these multi-billionaires who reap the benefits of the Bush Tax Cuts raking in the Golden Parachutes on our tax dollar, but you whine about someone stating they could raise the premiums for TriCare to the ame amounts the private sector pays for health insurance.

Freedoms?  You're telling me I'm safer now than I was 8 years ago when Bush drug us into the Iraq War?  Terrorism has been completely erradicated, and I never have to worry about another 9/11?  Dude, I've done my share of protecting your "freedoms".  Cyber-terrorism is one of the biggest threats this country faces on a daily basis.  If you knew some of the stuff that comes through ur military networks, you wouldn't be sleeping so easy at night.

Spin like a top. Do I need to pull out the posts you made about the wisconsin governor and the pensions? Or was that just an excuse for you to complain about another republican?
I am not saying don't end the bush tax cuts....I am saying don't end them during a recession. That has been my stance since day one. I actually liked mcCains proposed tax cuts before bush put his into affect......mccains made more sense to me.
Ok, on the military, let's compromise. Instead of cutting pensions......let's cut out the non military contractors and let the military do that work instead. I wonder how your business would fare? I wonder if you would even get anymore contracts if the generals and military admins knew what you thought of their overblown wages. Maybe you should write them a letter. While you are at it, send a few to the congressmen as well.
I can't believe you are comparing ceos to military leaders.........that is a first.
Darth (oh, you afe my hero for keeping us safe) tang
Does it hurt to reach like that to pat your back.

How come you never joined up if it is so easy at the officer level. With your education background you could easily be an officer from the get go in one of these soft departments you already work with. After all their pe sions are bloated, their salary is bloated and their health insurance is better than what you can get.
So tell me again why you are in your field and not theirs?
Darth (this should be rich) Tang

Yes, yes I am saying your safer now than 8 years ago. I understand you are doing your part in keeping this country safe and thank you for doing so, nonetheless I am willing to bet you that YOUR pension will be much more than those in our Military.
Someone posted earlier about Kuwait, I sir was there, my Daughter was born while I was there laying buried in the hot sand scoping things out with my team trying to imagine what she looked like, and was my wife okay. I sacrificed that time away from my young family. 2 weeks later while several Iraqi soldiers were waving a white flags, I jumped down from the humv and began my assessment. Next thing I hear is gunfire, two shots, I look down and see this Iraqi soldier dead with one bullet hole in his forehead. Next thing I know I can't breath and am bleeding profusely. I got stabbed in the back. The knife went through my left lung just inches from my heart. That was the first time I saw a dead human being. Now I have two huge scars on my side and the perfect memory of man dead. I was 20 years old. But the point of Kuwait, I didn't want to go.... but it was my JOB to do so.
With all respect to you sir move on back to the original discussion of Michelle Bachmann because if I went over to Iraq, Pakistan or wherever, retired after 25+ years and read your post on this subject........ Never mind...... I'm done with this.
By the way........ YOUR WELCOME!!
Sleep tight.
