You know the length does not make it work; it's the knowledge.
I won't ask................... Oh yeah, tanks! Nice 125!!!! I agree, arrowana's are nice. Jump right out of the amazon and grab monkeys out of trees! They are cool, but will eat everything!

nah its going to be a aggressive SW sooner or later.
I forgot the other v-tail in the 100 gallon tank oops./
everyone in that tanks gets along fine the only reason they are all together is the little blue chiclid in the tank wont stop harrasing them and I havent broke it down to get him out yet.

Very nice Mike!!! I never was too keen on albino oscars, but yours looks nice. I love the little blue guy! I can't think of the name of that breed. It will come to me in the middle of the night. The other longtail oscar is pretty as well. I never was a big fan of oscars (they scare me a little lol) Yours look great though!

I dont care for the regular oscars and the only reason I got these guys were they are gorgeous pictures just dont do them justice. almost look like overgrown bettas in a way LOL
I cant remeber the name of that little blue devil either but I am almost ready to flush him LOL he is a living nightmare to the rest of the tank. even the oscars stay away from HIS side of the tank and they could EAT HIM!!!

I have found that the blue cichlids (with the exception of frontosas) are the nastiest little buggers! I have had that kind before and cannot think of the breed name, but they can be quite mean. It seems that most of the blue varieties are just plain mean!! They are handsome little devils though.

Well, I can't tell the species by photograph, but you've got a lake Malawi african cichid there, and most likely a male. Pseudotropheus genus, possibly. They don't mix well with central and south americans. He needs a high pH, hard water, and a largely veggie diet. And oscars just aren't mean enough to house with them usually...
Trade him in to LFS, there is a decent market for pretty africans.

Yes, it is a Malawian cichlid, and we can't think of the species either, but he has one and I have had them (that particular species). They mix just fine with central species such as oscars. You would be very surprised how well they mix. They are not picky or in need of anything specific at all. Oscars are plenty mean enough to handle this little 2 1/2" max bully. Don't worry.
