Your snakes are beautiful, although I do have to admit, I don't get the cobra thing. Good luck with them. Maybe one day I'll have another reptile

Just wondering.. Did the Cobra's come from Diamond?
Glad you have a well laid out plan and everything right in the area in case something were to happen, that way there is no mistake of who put what where..
Hots are nothing to play with..
They came from private stock...a breeder, in Minnesota.

With the nail? I'm not sure I understand what you're asking.
Forgot to post them, but the babies are eating. I was only able to snap a pic of the female Cobra eating, as she was dragging the rat into her hide box. The male wasn't so willing to let me take pics. The baby Retics have fed twice, on rat pups. The first feeding, I gave them live, as most babies aren't willing to accept frozen/thawed right off the bat. Their second feedings were frozen/thawed and I was VERY excited that they took it, with no problems.
I gave the 10' male Retic a jumbo rat, as his first meal and it didn't even leave a lump, so a few days later, I tossed in a 3lb rabbit. It immediately sent him in a very well needed shed. The female Jampea also kicked into shed and we had to peel her...she actually had two layers of shed, that were in bad need of removal. Once the shed was removed, I was quite happy to see her colors REALLY showing and she's prettier than I thought. I'll try to get more pics of everyone, for you guys.
Sorry if these pics offend anyone. Everyone has to eat. lol
Super Dwarf male

Super Tiger female

MALE albino Tiger (I, at first, thought he was a she)

And, the female Cobra, not willing to share her meal

After I took that last pic, I realized that her hide box is a cut up Kotex box...how fitting, since she's so angry. hahaha!

Absolutely positive, about this, concerning Monocled Cobras, anyway. I watched each of them bite each other, numerous times, with no ill effects. Some were just bluff strikes, but a few were full on bites and neither have had any problems.
I've only studied the effects of their venom on humans, not each other...so, I don't have much to add, biology wise.
I got to catch most of that NatGeo show, as well...very interesting stuff.
The show is Wild Kingdom and the episode is, King Cobra and I. It's on Animal Planet.

I just checked on my DirecTV, has it's not showing any episodes in the near future
(though there is one about sea snakes).... I actually enjoyed it, wasn't so glamorized, more facts, pretty cool.

Glad I could help. I know quite a few of the top breeders. If you need some help getting pointed towards the right people, just let me know. I could probably get you a great deal.
